Animal Messengers

Many times recently when connecting with a client for intuitive guidance, an animal messenger will show up with a message for them. This has happened in years past here and there but never as frequently as lately. Could it be a new 'theme' in my readings?

I've written about how themes show up in my work before. The theme of religion and the theme of spirit guides, in particular. What I mean by theme is that many clients come to me, in a short time period, to talk about a similar topic or seeking similar guidance and/or the spirit world will use similar images or symbols to provide clarity and guidance to the client.

This week in particular it has been animals. I don't mean pets in the spirit world, I mean animals that have different spiritual meanings/connotations. Earlier this week, I connected to an amazing client in Quebec whose Mom in Spirit showed me a giraffe. I had a knowing that this giraffe stood for a few different things. Firstly, it represented world travel for my client, specifically a few recent trips to Africa. Secondly, it represented what my client was working on specifically at this time and what had already come in for her earlier in the reading. Thirdly, it was a new spirit sign that her Mom wanted her to pay attention to. Her Mom told me that she would be sending a giraffe asap!

After the session ended, I left my office and went upstairs to go the washroom. As I came out of the powder room, I saw something sitting on the upstairs staircase that I hadn't noticed before. A sticker of a giraffe that I had never seen before. I'm assuming it fell out of my son's pocket or backpack at some point but come on, a giraffe!! It made me laugh out loud with wonder at the magic of the universe.

In today's Deep Soul session with an incredible client in Florida, we had an Octopus come forward with guidance. It felt very loving and supportive and I had a feeling why it showed up would make sense very soon. After the session, a quick google of the spiritual meaning of an Octopus had our hair standing on ends. SOOO on point to what came up in the session. It's honestly uncanny! It also reminded me that almost a year ago, I had an Octopus come to me during a reiki healing session. The wisdom of the Octopus resonated so deeply to both of us; further validating the soul connection that my client and I both feel with each other.

Receiving the giraffe sticker spirit sign for my client (which she was absolutely delighted and amazed by) had me thinking about a session I did last week with a lovely client in California. In the mediumship portion of her session, her ex husband came forward to share healing messages for her and her family. One of the things he brought up was a connection to driving with her in the car. He shared that he taught her to drive a 'stick' and that he fondly thinks of those times. He compared their younger selves to Sandy and Danny of the movie 'Grease'. She laughed and told me that they used to listen to the Grease soundtrack all the time in those days when driving in the car. Incredible. To end, he said that he sends her songs and the next one he would send would be "You're the one that I want" from the Grease soundtrack. She assured me she'd keep an ear out. 

Later that evening, I was unwinding with a hot cuppa and a cheesy french romcom.  There is a scene in the movie where the two main characters decide to join a couples dance competition at the resort they are staying at. Guess what song they dance to in the movie? 

"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT"!!! 

I know, right?!

I shared immediately with my client and we were both amazed by it. It validated to us how often Spirit will send us signs through other people. In the case of the giraffe and the song, those loved ones sent the sign to me to share with their loved ones. There has been many times in my life that I have received a comment or assistance from a stranger that was exactly what I needed to receive at the moment. I received that message from that person on behalf of Spirit. 

Messages are shared with us in so many ways. 

We are so incredibly supported by the Divine/Universe. 

All we need to do is be open to receiving them.
